Staying safe in a 2020 Volvo XC90 with Guest Host Professor Lotta Jakobsson from Volvo Cars

My name is Jordan Golson and I've been writing about cars and technology for more than a decade. This is where my car reviews live! PRNDL is hidden in front of your eyes in just about every car you drive, down on the shifter: Park; Reverse; Neutral; Drive; Low. This shift order was set by regulation decades ago (thanks in part to Ralph Nader) and is one of those things that we interact with regularly but never think about. It rhymes with "Pringle." PRNDL is also my home for car reviews, news, and more. I try to give my thoughts on new vehicles in a fun and entertaining way, while not diving too deep into specs and numbers (there are plenty of other folks for that!).
Episode details

We're in Banff, Alberta, Canada with the 2020 Volvo XC90. It's Volvo's biggest SUV and it's fantastically comfortable, luxurious, and very, very safe.

Joining Jordan is Professor Lotta Jakobsson, Senior Technical Specialist for Safety at Volvo Cars Safety Centre in Gothenburg, Sweden. Dr. Jakobsson is an expert in biomechanics, automotive crashes, and how to keep us all safer when driving.
